This is our first time on a first class sleeper train! We took the train from Nha Trang to Da Nang, which is about a 10 hour ride. It definitely wasn’t what we were expecting…watch to find out why 🙂

Nha Trang is like a derelict city now , honestly I’ve lived here for eight years it was prospering beyond belief and now it looks like it’s gone bankrupt . Hotels are shut restaurants are shut , no tourists no money , it’s very sad 😞
Hi mate…that was not firstclass sleeping Train.. I am vietnamese I took firstclass train there..costed 40$.Very clean and nice and you have flowers and free water and snacks in there..og was second or thirth Class there..first Class 42$ I Think last time i paid
i hope you like Vietnam!!! i miss VN so much but due to the Coronavirus, i cannot travel for now!!!
Wow, travelling First Class in a sleeper train.
A typical saying,
"What You Pay Is What You Will Get".
Happy exploring.
Cheers
Jack love your head band really suits you! Gab ur mum is adventurous you wouldn't get my mum on a sleeper train 😂🖐
It was raw and not what I expected for first class but it’s what it is . I’m loving these vlogs of Vietnam 🇻🇳 and actually falling in love with the country . Safe travels 👍🇬🇧
Yep, trains in Vietnam are dirty. Thailand trains are much nicer. We lived in HoiAn for a year. Now we are living in Siem Reap. https://youtu.be/UAjPffmyNHA
There is more reason they should sign up to the Bricks and Road Initiative to get some badly needed funding for infrastructure and the railway stations and carriage need a makeover. Terrible conditions.
OMG, Vietnam is still quite primitive compared to Malaysia and China. Hope they get their acts together soon as the railway carriage is filthy despite being in the first class. So sad but I supposed after years of war and mayhem, it cannot be improved overnight. No doubt the hardworking people of Vietnam will overcome their adversity. Safe journey.
Gab ! listen to Jack ! you are first class !!
Keep safe Jack and Gab! …'Til 50K. #CaptGab 😷🙏
I had my trip to VN all set and booked for mid March. Was going to Saigon and then Da Nang but cancelled my entire trip due to the coronavirus. Just being cautious.
Was this the lotus train?
Great vid! How do you two like the DJI Osmo Pocket? Your videos actually convinced me to incorporate the Osmo Pocket to my video gear! I wanted something small i can use when i dont feel comfortable with my bigger camera set up. Do you have any accessories you recommend for it? Safe travels!
Ahh i remember those sleeper trains and i don't miss them lol. They start off clean in Saigon and progressively get more dirty as you make your way to Hanoi. They get a proper clean at both ends. The scenery you get from the windows is amazing though!
Glad to see you are well. Another amazing place trips to remember.
I been following your journey..
Good to see and can't wait another video.
Great, nice travelling and good food.
Very interesting. Like it.❤
For SE Asia, first class is a step up from what most people on the train deal with. I like the luxury over night buses better than trains.
